Blogging was put to the back burner for a while so I could focus on finishing aesthetician school and all the celebrations that went along with it. (Uh oh I ended the sentence in a proposition ~ is that still no longer allowed?) This was a good and interesting move for me. It’s something that I wanted to do for a while. It will allow me fill my artistic void while I look for other adventures within the same spectrum. Because isn’t that what life should be and adventure of trial, talent and achievement ~ I mean to a point? It would be nice if we could do whatever we wished, but there is a certain reality that comes into play, like uh life and responsibilities. But aside from my former degreed required type job, it has been fun learning a trade. One that I will work hard. And now the hard part begins ~ trying to find a place to grow and use my new talents. Daunting and exciting all in one.
With all of this Laurel 2.0 going on I still have been running and cycling. Now that things have calmed down a bit and it is getting cooler here in the desert, yes it is no longer hitting 121 degrees only about 105 or so…..I’m beginning to look at rides and races I can participate. I really wanted to do the Grand Canyon Half but it looks like I will have to wait until next year as it’s run in May. I’ll keep looking for new ways to get those miles.
I finished with 62.06 for August and I’m tracking at 45.94 for September so far. Total for the year is 892.40 with 8,642.35 joyfully remaining. I hope all your miles “change” you for the better and bring you happiness. Happy Miles to You:)
