This might be one of the easiest posts I’ll write. I have completed 0.0 miles for the week. I logged on to Garmin and this is what showed up on my dashboard:
I’m actually quite proud. The repetitive calf injury showed itself again and I still have fluid on the knee. In normal circumstances I would have been out there already. But I have decided that I need to be patient and heal. I will even go to the doctor, which is big for me. I haven’t been sitting around doing nothing. I’m using this time to focus on strength training and heal the body. I’m hoping by the end of the week I can start cycling again, then slowly get back on the running train. I have been scouring the internet and magazines for the proper strength exercises. I tend to focus on just cycling and running sometimes and this is what usually happens. Patience is a virtue or so I hear….still at 6890.17 ~ Happy Miles to You!!
